The oldest man running out in this weekend’s Colac district football elimination final says playing next year is on his agenda.
At an age when most players have retired or relegated themselves to reserves, Alvie veteran Paul Cass, 37, remains an important part of his side’s premiership hopes and has no plans to give the game away.
“I haven’t really thought about it. I still feel pretty good and I’ve been lucky I’ve had no major injuries or anything that’s kept me out for weeks or months,” Cass said.
“I’ll probably sit down and talk to the club at the end of the season but I couldn’t see why if I’m still getting a kick and the club wants me to go on,” he said.
