A host of current, former and prospective Australian cricketers is set to converge on Warrion Recreation Reserve tomorrow.
Australia’s almost-leg spinner Bryce McGain will headline a star-studded group of Victorian Bushrangers that will feature in this weekend’s Victorian Premier League one-dayer between Melbourne and Prahran.
Melbourne have named Test all-rounder Andrew McDonald, former Test double-century-maker Brad Hodge and Australian Twenty20 paceman Shane Harwood in its squad of 12 for the top-of-the-table one-day clash.
Former Australian Test player Adam Dale will captain the powerful Melbourne line-up, which also includes Bushrangers rookie left-hander Michael Hill.
McGain will make his unexpected return to competitive cricket at Warrion tomorrow but Prahran will not have the services of fellow Bushranger David Hussey.
