Colac Otway Shire Council mayor Brian Crook said he wanted the council to revisit plans to create a new centre for athletics and soccer.
“What I proposed many years ago was to use the Bruce Street tip site,” Cr Crook said.
“It’s a huge area of land and I proposed to the council they should look at that as a provision,” he said.
