Short film return
By Georgie Worland • Oct 16th, 2009 • Category: NewsA former Colac district man is producing a short film featuring Colac and Camperdown.
Ashley Harris formerly of Carlisle River is the producer of the 15-minute film Tethered, which he and his team have filmed this week in Colac and Camperdown.
“It’s a coming-of-age film,” Mr Harris said.
“We received funding from Film Victoria and have filmed it every day this week and hope to have it finished by today.”
Tethered is a story about an adolescent who works at a knackery and has to learn to fit in.
“It’s about a young boy who has to learn to fit into his work environment and in the end becomes a man,” Harris said.
“We hope to have it ready for release on February 1 next year.”
