Colac rower earns World Masters’ gold

Heaton-Harris won a gold medal in the B Mixed double scull race with Richmond’s Annalise Gehling.
“We both have the same coach, Neville Smith, and when we had time trials two weeks ago he suggested we partner up and row together,” he said.
“We got a late entry in and it was accepted on the Tuesday before we rowed on the Wednesday.”
Heaton-Harris rowed in 10 races in five days at Sydney’s International Regatta Centre.
“I made the semi-finals in three events and on the last day we won the final of the B Mixed double scull,” he said.
