Health workers graduate

Eighteen Colac Area Health staff graduated from education programs this week.
People received certificates in health administration, nursing and clinical skills programs.
Chief executive officer Geoff Iles congratulated the graduates.
“It’s fantastic to see staff progress in their professional development,” Mr Iles said.
“As an organisation we support staff in their ongoing training and development through a number of staff development programs,” he said.
“It really is fantastic to see staff take the time and have the commitment to progress in their careers.”
Three people received a Certificate Four in health administration, a 12-month course.
Four people received a Certificate Four
in health after a two-year nursing traineeship.
Six graduates received certificates for completing a 12-month rural health graduate nurse program; three nurses received certificates for completing a 12-month advanced clinical skills program and two people received graduate certificates of nursing practice in perioperative care after a 12-month course.
