Apollo Bay Badminton Club is thriving due to an increase in its junior memberships. Secretary Shelley Robb said the club was about to finish its autumn competition. “The numbers have been steady and we have had increased interest towards the end of the season,” Mrs Robb said.

Calls to join Colac group

A Colac badminton group wants more players from Colac district clubs to attend its next visitors’ day. Colac Ladies Daytime Badminton Association yesterday hosted a visitors day for Colac district clubs, with players from Ballarat travelling to Colac to have a hit and share a cuppa and sandwich.
